As a photographer I’m always chasing after that yummy golden light that happens during the two hours before sunset. However sometimes when you have to book photoshoots far ahead of time, you are at the mercy of the weather, and it doesn’t always happen to be sunny. I was a little nervous about this maternity session because most of it was boudoir style, which means little clothing, and with the cold that doesn’t always work out so well. However, thankfully pregnant women naturally have a tad higher internal temperature, and the weather was only in the 60s, which isn’t too bad. What I ended up loving about this session was the gorgeous clouds that we were able to capture towards the end of the shoot, as well as the sun peeking through them, it created such drama. It made for a really gorgeous shoot, and I just love the images we ended up with. I can’t show most of them due to the nature of the shoot, however I can show a few of them.
Tawny is such a gorgeous mama. She is expecting baby number three and wanted something a little different and special for her last pregnancy; something to just celebrate and remember the beautiful way her body changes to grow a baby. I loved being able to capture these images for her.
